Dan Kill, MSW, LCSW
President and CEO
Mr. Kill received his
MSW from Loyola School of Social work and has been our Executive Director since 1996. Prior
to his current position, he has held direct service, supervisory, management
and administrative positions. He specializes in counseling of adults experiencing
severe and persistent mental health problems, along with family and marital
treatment. In 1999, he received the agency's highest award - the Rita
Johnson Humanitarian Award - recognizing his commitment to Family Service,
volunteerism and the clients served by the agency. He has been at Family
Service since 1975.
Sid Wax, MSW, LCSW,
Director of Clinical Services
Sid received his Post
Masters Certificate in Advanced Clinical Social Work from Loyola and his
Masters of Social Work from the University of Iowa. He specializes in
brief treatment, family therapy, adoption issues and mental health consultation.
He has twenty-two years of professional experience and has been at Family
Service since July, 1999.
Joan Pearce, MA,
MLS
Director of Finance & Support Services
Joan has been a business
owner in Oak Park for 25 years. She owned KP News, the largest delivery
system of the New York Times in the Midwest, Solid Characters, a typesetting
business, and Java Joans, a gourmet coffee shop in downtown Oak Park.
As Director of Finance, she is responsible for the financial management
for all the programs of the Agency. She has been employed by the Agency
since 1997.
Sally Thomas
Executive Assistant
Sally joined us in August, 2006. As our Administrative Assistant, she acts as the staff liaison to our Board of Directors, and oversees daily administrative tasks. Sally comes to us from Revlon, where she acted as Administrative Assistant. She also has extensive office management experience.
